“Our job is to provide a protected space for love, safety, and stability in which children of many unpredictable kinds can flourish. Our job is not to shape our children’s minds; it’s to let those minds explore all the possibilities that the world allows. Our job is not to tell children how to play; it’s to give them the toys and pick the toys up again after the kids are done. We can’t make children learn, but we can let them learn.”

MBP Core Beliefs, Values, & Mission

The boundless capacity of children to love and learn is remarkable. By empowering children, parents, educators, and communities, we are shaping a world that embodies empathy, creativity, and affection. We show our dedication to children by creating an environment that nurtures their inherent desire to lead their own learning through play. Concurrently, we stand alongside families and educators in preserving the essence of childhood.

Magic Beings Preschool adopts a mixed-age group approach, facilitating mutual learning and mentorship between younger and older children. Through this, younger ones receive guidance from their older peers, while the older ones have the opportunity to mentor and assist the younger children in their learning journey.

“In a world that is increasingly technology driven, with information just a click away, 21st century learners must be able to think critically and creatively. Making connections and synthesizing information will be key to academic and future success. Fostering creativity is no longer enrichment to learning – it is where critical connections, innovation, and meaningful inspiration are developed. We know that children experience access to the creative-self in their early years more so than at any other time in their lives. Helping children to recognize and become acquainted with the many facets of creative expression can be an amazing experience for the early childhood educator as well. ”
