Math & Science
Children are little scientists, always curious and wanting to explore their surroundings. At MBP, we encourage children to learn math and science by using hands-on materials and having child-led discussions and activities. For example, when children build a tower and it falls down, they learn about cause and effect. When they play with puzzle pieces and figure out how they fit together, they're learning about shapes. And when children count how many kids are at the snack table and get the right number of napkins, they're using mathematical reasoning.
Social & Emotional Learning
Young children possess an inherent curiosity and a strong desire to connect with their surroundings. By employing age-appropriate strategies, children acquire the skills to collaborate effectively with their peers, foster self-regulation, and exhibit suitable approaches to learning.
Language & Literacy
The faculty assists children in establishing connections and incorporating language into their daily tasks and routines. Staff will model to encourage learning and enhance language abilities. Our goal is to equip children with language skills that empower them to boost their self-confidence and foster independence.
Physically & Environmentally
At MBP, we offer a balanced approach to learning, incorporating both staff-guided and child-led activities that encourage children to explore and engage their senses through play. Our preschool provides children with frequent opportunities to connect with nature in a stunning organic outdoor environment, where they can actively participate in caring for and enjoying various garden areas. Through this hands-on experience, we aim to cultivate in children an appreciation for the world and a sense of responsibility as stewards of the Earth. We promote sustainable living choices by modeling positive ownership of our planet.
